The evaluation results obtained, proved that the VGG1 model distinguishes the three classes at an accuracy of almost 91%, as compared to other models, whereas the approach based on the LSTM predicts the number of nCOV cases with 99% accuracy.Catechins are polyphenolic compounds which abundantly occur in the plants, especially tea leaves. They are widely used in nutraceutical and pharmaceutical formulations due to their capability of lowering the risk of developing various diseases. Nevertheless, low stability, loss of antioxidant and antimicrobial activities hinder the direct application of catechins in food formulations. To surmount this pervasive challenge, bioactive ingredients should be entrapped in a biopolymeric matrix. Thus, nanoencapsulation technology would be an appropriate strategy to improve the stability of these bioactive compounds and to protect them against degradation. Among different types of nanocarriers, biopolymer-based nanovehicles has captured a lot of attention in both industry and academia due to their safety and biocompatibility. This revision enlarges upon the various types of biopolymeric nanostructures used for accommodation of catechins, namely nanogels, nanotubes, nanofibers, nanoemulsions and nanoparticles. Last but not least, the applications of the entrapped catechins in the food industry are highlighted.Responsive controlled-release systems can not only improve the efficiency of agrochemical utilization but also increase crop yield and reduce environmental pollution caused by excessive use of agrochemicals. BAY872243 In this paper, the helix-coil structural transition of gelatin was adopted to construct a novel stimuli-responsive controlled-release system called polypyrrole/Ca-alginate/gelatin (PPy/Ca-alginate/Gel). In PPy/Ca-alginate/Gel, Ca-alginate and gelatin form a semi-interpenetrating network in which uncross-linked gelatin can undergo a free helix-coil structural transition due to the photothermal effect of PPy. The structural transition of gelatin will lead to changes in the functional groups and microstructure of semi-interpenetrating hydrogels and furthermore achieve the release of template agrochemical molecules embedded in hydrogels. By using carbendazim as a template molecule, the photothermal conversion and controlled release of PPy/Ca-alginate/Gel were systematically studied. After 600 s of light irradiation, its temperature could be increased by 17 ℃. The release of carbendazim in microspheres reached 91.8 % after 8 h of light irradiation, while it was only 13.3 % in the dark. The results indicated that PPy/Ca-alginate/Gel have excellent controlled-release and sustained-release properties and broad application potential in agriculture.Hydrogel adhesives with high tissue adhesion, biodegradability and biocompatibility are benefit for promoting surgical procedures and minimizing the pain and post-surgical complications of patients. In this paper, an injectable mussel inspired double cross-linked hydrogel adhesive composed of thiolated mussel inspired chitosan (CSDS) and tetra-succinimidyl carbonate polyethylene glycol (PEG-4S) was designed and developed. CSDS was synthesized with thiol and catechol groups inspired by the synergistic effect of mussel foot proteins (mfps). The double cross-linked hydrogel was first formed by the addition of sodium periodate (or Fe3+) and then double cross-linked with PEG-4S. The results showed that the mechanical and adhesion properties of the double cross-linked hydrogels were significantly improved by the synergistic effects of the functional groups. And the prepared hydrogels showed good cytocompatibility which evaluated by determining the viability of L929 cells and human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Additionally, the biodegradability and biocompatibility in vivo were further confirmed by subcutaneous implantation in mice model, and the histological analysis results identified that the prepared hydrogels were in vivo biocompatible. This work presents an injectable mussel inspired double cross-linked hydrogels that can use as a potential hydrogel adhesive for biomedical application.National estimates on tobacco and alcohol consumption are insufficient to guide policy at the sub-national level. This study assessed the sex-stratified prevalence of different types of smoking and smokeless tobacco and alcohol consumption among adults aged 15-49 using the National Family Health Survey (2015-16) at sub-national administrative units. Three-level logistic regression models were applied to quantify the variation at district- and community-level in smoking and consumption of smokeless tobacco and alcohol. A higher prevalence of smoking, smokeless tobacco and alcohol consumption was observed among men. The study found that the considerable unexplained variations in two different forms of tobacco and alcohol consumption among men attributed to between-population differences at district-level and community-level. The between-population differences were even larger at the district- and community-level in tobacco and alcohol consumption among women. Continious assessment of tobacco and alcohol consumption at lower administrative units and the development of evidence-based localised cessation interventions must be integrated with health policy to reduce disease burden and preventable deaths. It is unclear whether dietary quality varies by geography in the US. Assess patterns in packaged food purchases (PFPs). We characterized variation in PFP quality from 2008 to 2018 by 1) examining geographic clustering and 2) using regression analysis to control for household characteristics. Lower quality purchases clustered in the Southeast and Appalachia, whereas higher quality purchases clustered in the West and Northeast. Spatial patterns were similar for low socioeconomic households but not high socioeconomic households. Geographic differences in quality remained after controlling for demographic composition. This analysis should inform research into systemic drivers of PFP quality. This analysis should inform research into systemic drivers of PFP quality.
