h SIAp/Al less then 1.1 was higher than HCC with SIAp/Al≥1.1(P = .025).The SIAp/Al in preoperative Gd-EOB-DTPA dynamic enhanced MR imaging is a potential diagnosis marker for MVI and pathological grade of HCC noninvasively. The higher SIAp/Al may predict the poor prognosis of HCC after surgery. Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a common clinical postpartum complication. It is necessary to explore the risk factors of postpartum SUI in primiparas to provide evidence support for preventing and reducing the occurrence of SUI.Primiparas who were delivered in our hospital from March 2019 to October 2020 were identified, the personal information and related treatment details of SUI and no-SUI primiparas were collected and analyzed. Logistic regression analyses were conducted to identify the risk factors of postpartum SUI in primiparas.A total of 612 primiparas were included, the incidence of SUI in primiparas was 32.03%. There were significant differences in the body mass index (BMI) before pregnancy, diabetes, abortion, delivery method, newborn's weight, epidural anesthesia, and duration of second stage of labor (all P < .05) between SUI and no-SUI group, and there were no significant differences in the age, BMI at admission, hypertension and hyperlipidemia SUI and no-SUI group (all P > .05). Lry (OR 2.262, 95% CI 1.042-4.011), newborn's weight ≥3 kg (OR 1.613, 95% CI 1.095-2.316), epidural anesthesia (OR 2.015, 95% CI 1.226-3.372), and duration of second stage of labor ≥90 minutes (OR 1.726, 95% CI 1.084-2.147) were the risk factors of postpartum SUI in primiparas (all P  less then  .05).The clinical incidence of SUI in primiparas is relatively high. In clinical practice, medical staff should conduct individualized early screening for those risk factors, and take prevention measures to reduce the occurrence of SUI. Preoperative pulmonary function assessment is applied to select surgical candidates and predict the occurrence of postoperative complications. This present study enrolled 2323 colorectal cancer patients. Forced vital capacity (FVC) and maximal voluntary ventilation (MVV) were measured as predicted values. Associations between patient pulmonary function and both prognosis and postoperative complications was analyzed. The value of FVC and MVV optimal cutoff was 98.1 (P < .001) and 92.5 (P < .001), respectively. Low FVC and low MVV were associated with higher rates of postoperative fever (23.8% vs 13.9%, P < .001; 17.8% vs 13.3%, P = .049, respectively) and with higher rates of pneumonia (3.75% vs 1.73%, P = .002; 3.00% vs 1.71%, P = .009, respectively), pleural effusion (3.00% vs 1.57%, P = .033; 3.18% vs 1.42%, P = .006, respectively), and poor patient prognosis (5-year overall survival 80.0% vs 90.3%, P < .001; 71.7% vs 91.9%, P < .001, respectively). In addition, low FVC was closely related ctal cancer patients. It is known that Bi Qi Capsules (BQC) have synergistic effects when combined with Methotrexate, but there is a lack of clinical studies on the long-term efficacy and safety of the combination of the 2 in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Therefore, the purpose of this randomized controlled trial was to evaluate the long-term efficacy and safety of this treatment. This was a prospective, double-blind, single-simulation, randomized controlled trial investigating the efficacy and safety of BQC in combination with Methotrexate in the treatment of RA, and was approved by the Clinical Research Ethics Committee of the hospital. Patients were randomized in a 11 ratio to either the observation or control group and were respectively followed up for 6 months after receiving 12 weeks of treatment. The observation indexes included total effective rate, DAS-28 score, inflammatory indexes, and adverse reactions. Finally, the collected data was statistically analyzed by SPSS version 18.0. This study evaluated the long-term efficacy of BQC in combination with Methotrexate in the treatment of RA. Tubacin nmr The trial results of this study will provide new ideas for choosing a combination of Chinese and Western medicine protocols for the treatment of RA. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and vocal fold polyps (VFPs).This is a Case-Control study and was performed with the help of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.Twenty-seven patients with VFP and 20 controls without VFP were recruited between May and October 2018. All the subjects underwent a saliva pepsin test, completed the GerdQ questionnaire and 24-hour multichannel intraluminal impedance with pH (24-h MII-pH) monitoring. Twenty-five resected VFP specimens were examined with immunohistochemical (IHC) and double immunofluorescence (IF) staining. The incidence of GERD in the VFP group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P = .003). Patients with VFP had significantly higher GerdQ scores, pepsin concentrations, and pepsin-positive rates (P < .05). Moreover, the number of proximal and upright reflux events was significantly higher in the VFP group (P < .05). The pepsin concentration in sal 80%) and pepsin-positive cells were found in both the squamous epithelium and mesenchymal tissues. IHC staining of TGF-β1 in VFP revealed findings similar to those of pepsin staining.GERD is an important risk factor for VFP. Pepsin may promote the aggregation of immune cells, increase the local cytokines, and promote inflammatory reaction, suggesting a potential new pathogenesis for VFP. The saliva pepsin test is a reliable method for GERD diagnosis. Esophageal carcinoma is an aggressive cancer with extremely poor therapeutic outcomes due to its high metastatic potential and a significant risk of recurrence after radical resection. Liver is the most common metastatic target organ of esophageal carcinoma, followed by the lungs, bones, and brain. Few cases of solitary pancreatic and hepatic metastases of esophageal carcinoma have been reported. We report the case of a 67-year-old male presenting with pancreatic and hepatic lesions. In addition, a friable lesion with an irregular nodular surface in the distal esophagus was detected by esophagogastroduodenoscopy. Pathohistological examination confirmed esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. The pancreatic lesion was also biopsied via ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration, which also revealed squamous cell carcinoma. The hepatic lesion was also identified as metastatic carcinoma by magnetic resonance imaging, most likely of the same origin. Due to comorbidities that precluded surgery, the patient was administered adjuvant therapy and a multidisciplinary decision was made for palliative care.
