3% vs 44.3%, P less then 0.001) and apnea (0.9% vs 5.5%, P=0.001) was lower than that in heathy control group. The proportion of athetosis in CD was higher than that in healthy control group (35.4% vs 28.9%, P=0.045). Conclusion Patients with UC and CD have poor sleep quality before the onset of the disease, especially in CD patients. Objective To Summarize the experience of pump-controlled retrograde trial off (PCRTO) in the process of veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) withdrawal in adult patients. Methods Adult patients who received ECMO assistance in Intensive Care Unit for Cardiac Surgery from March to July 2019 were collected. According to our strategies, PCRTO was used if the patients can wean from VA-ECMO and hemodynamic indexes were recorded during the process. The statistics data was collected, including the 48 hours survival rate, ECMO re-assistance rate, thrombus complications, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) stay time and hospital stay time after weaning from VA-ECMO. The patients who failed in the test were continued to be assisted by ECMO. Results There were 46 patients assisted by VA-ECMO in our center. In total, 21 adults who met the offline test standard underwent 26 PCRTOs, including 10 male adults (47.6%), with an age of 65 (55, 68) years old. Eighteen adults passed the withdrawal test. No new thrombus. Objective To investigate the clinical features and risk factors of hospital-associated venous thromboembolism (VTE). Methods The study enrolled acute VTE patients admitted into China-Japan Friendship Hospital from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. The hospital-associated VTE (HA-VTE) group and the community-associated VTE (CA-VTE) group were classified according to whether the VTE occurred during hospitalization or within a 90-day period of admission to hospital (including inpatient with at least two days of hospital stay or a surgical procedure under general or regional anaesthesia). Differences in clinical features, risk factors, and mortality rate were compared between the two groups. Results A total of 437 patients with acute VTE were analyzed in the study. Among them, 266 patients were HA-VTE, 171 patients were CA-VTE. Patients in the CA-VTE group were more likely to have varicose veins, sedentary, long-distance travel, and patients in the HA-VTE group were more complicated with recent surgery ( lessut VTE should be paid to hospitalized patients to reduce the incidence of HA-VTE events. Objective To explore whether combining treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with anti-tumor therapy is better than that of tumor treatment alone in advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with COPD in the real world. Methods The clinical data of 101 patients with advanced NSCLC complicated with COPD from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2017, in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University were analyzed retrospectively, including 99 males and two females, aged from 52 to 84 years[average (67±8) years]. Among the patients, 90 (89.1%) were smokers, with an average pack-year smoking index of (47±4) . The patients were divided into observation and control groups, depending on whether they received standardized anti-COPD supportive treatment. In the observation group, there were 36 patients, including 35 males and one female, aged from 54 to 84 years[ average (67±8) years], with an average pack-year of smoking (47±4). There were 65 patients in the control group, isignificant difference (χ(2)=0.02, P=0.889). Median PFS in the observation group was 6.0 months, which was better than the 3.5 months in the control group (χ(2)=3.947, P less then 0.05). The median OS of the observation group was 18.0 months, which was better than the 15.0 months of the control group (χ(2)=4.083, P less then 0.05). Conclusions Compared with the treatment of tumors alone, combination of anti-tumor therapy with anti-COPD therapy showed longer PFS and OS in patients with advanced NSCLC complicated with COPD.Objective To investigate the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) of IL-1β gene and susceptibility to tuberculosis. Methods A case-control study was conducted in Shenzhen Third People's Hospital from January 2012 to December 2014. A total of 1 533 patients with active tuberculosis were enrolled, including 1 432 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis[920 males and 512 females, mean age (37±14) years] and 101 cases of extrapulmonary tuberculosis [60 males and 41 females, mean age (35±13) years]. Didox in vitro At the same time, 1 445 healthy controls (882 males and 563 females, mean age (37±20) years) were selected. The genotypes of rs1143627, rs1143623, rs16944 and rs2853550 of IL-1β gene were detected by time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The allele frequencies of rs1143627 T>C (-31) were compared between patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and those with extrapulmonary tuberculosis. Fifty-three patients with active tuberculosis [male 32, female 21, mean age (37±15) years] were randomly selected, and the correts with extrapulmonary tuberculosis (62.9%, 127/202) was significantly higher than that in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (52.6%,1 507/2 864) (OR=1.53; 95% CI=1.13-2.05; P=0.005).The HRCT scores of patients with rs1143627 TT, TC and CC genotypes were 26.6, 13.9 and 13.3 respectively before anti-tuberculosis treatment, and after 2 years of anti-tuberculosis treatment, the HRCT scores of patients with rs1143627 TT, TC and CC genotypes were 14.7, 6.6 and 5.4 respectively, which indicated that TB patients with rs1143627T allele were associated with more severe pulmonary disease. Conclusion The SNP of IL-1β-31T>C was associated with susceptibility to active tuberculosis, and T allele was the susceptible gene and individuals carrying T allele were more likely to develop extrapulmonary tuberculosis. Objective To explore the clinical characteristics, risk factors and possible inflammatory response mechanisms in critically ill patients with influenza and invasive pulmonary aspergillosis co-infection. Methods Sixty-four patients with severe influenza virus pneumonia were included in the RICU of the China-Japanese Friendship Hospital from November 1(st), 2017 to March 31(th), 2018. There were 33 males and 31 females, with an average age of (55±14) years. T-tests or χ(2) test were applied for comparisons between the two groups. Fifteen patients were complicated with IPA and were classified as the IPA group, while the other 49 served as the control group. The clinical characteristics, laboratory examinations, and endoscopic manifestations were compared between the two groups and the risk factors for severe influenza virus pneumonia with IPA were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression. The possible mechanisms of inflammatory response were explored by comparing the differences of plasma inflammatory factors between the two groups.
