In this study, a sensitive and facile electrochemical immunosensor using AuPdPt trimetallic nanoparticles functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs-AuPdPt) as the signal amplification platform was designed for the label-free detection of S. aureus. The nanocomposite of MWCNTs-AuPdPt was prepared by an in situ growth method of loading AuPdPt trimetallic nanoparticles on the surface of MWCNTs. The synthesized MWCNTs-AuPdPt featured good conductivity and superior catalytic performance for hydrogen peroxide. The nanocomposite of MWCNTs-AuPdPt with good biocompatibility and high specific surface area was further functionalized by anti-S. aureus antibodies. The immobilized antibodies could efficiently capture S. aureus to the modified electrode by an immune reaction, which resulted in the change of catalytic current intensity to realize the sensitive detection of S. aureus. The designed immunosensor could detect S. aureus in a linear range from 1.1 × 102 to 1.1 × 107 CFU mL-1 with a low detection limit of 39 CFU mL-1. Additionally, the proposed immunosensor was successfully applied to determine S. aureus in actual samples with acceptable results. This strategy provided a promising platform for highly sensitive determination of S. aureus and other pathogens in food products. The aims of this meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials are to investigate the efficacy and safety of ranolazine in AF patients with LV systolic dysfunction. PubMed and the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews were searched until July 2020. The efficacy outcomes included the incidence of new-onset AF, the rate of sinus rhythm restoration, and the time until sinus rhythm restoration. Safety endpoints were at death, and any adverse events were reported in the enrolled studies. We initially identified 204 studies and finally retrieved 5 RCTs. Three studies were analyzed in the meta-analysis. Consultation cases covering a 5-year period (2016-2020) regarding gynecological neoplastic and non-neoplastic lesions in which immunohistochemistry for p16, clone E6H4 was originally performed, were retrospectively retrieved from the files of our institution. Immunohistochemical staining for p16ink4a (BC42) [Biocare Medical group-Paceco USA; Bioptica Milan] and p16ink4a (E6H4) [Ventana Medical Systems-Arizona USA; Roche] was performed by using the Ventana automated immunostainer (Ventana Medical Systems, Tucson, AZ, USA). The immunostaining pattern was defined as negative, focal/patchy, or diffuse. A total of 196 cases, represented by 36 high-grade SIL/CIN3 of the uterine cervix, 30 cervical adenocarcinomas, 22 cervical squamous cell carcinoma, 70 endometrial carcinomas, 25 high grade serous ovarian carcinomas, 6 uterine adenomatoid tumors, and 10 uterine leiomyosarcomas were included in this study. Thirty-three extracted human maxillary molars were collected. Distobuccal and palatal canals were prepared to an apical size of #40/06 with a Profile Ni-Ti system. All 66 canals were divided into two groups according to the material (EZ-seal or OrthoMTA) and then obturated using three different techniques manual compaction using S-kondenser (group H), compactor activation (group C), or reverse rotary motion of Ni-Ti file (group R). The obturated roots were scanned using micro-computed tomography (micro-CT). The percentage of voids located in the apical 5 mm was measured separately, that is, closed, open, and total porosity. There was no relation between the filling material and obturation technique (p > 0.05). The percentage volume of open and total porosity was higher in EZ-seal than in OrthoMTA (open p = 0.002, total p = 0.001). Group H showed higher open and total porosity than groups C and R. Micro-CT analysis showed that the void volume after orthograde MTA fillings significantly decreased when the additional activation was accompanied by hand condensation. Obturation with a Ni-Ti file using reverse motion could be recommended as an MTA orthograde filling technique.
